My husband is due for an upgrade with AT&T and will only settle for the Motorola V3xx. About a month ago this phone was $49.99 w/ upgrade and then the next day it was $99.99...so now as stubborn as he is he won't pay the $99.99..I know you could care less I'm just wondering why the pricing fluctuated like that and if there are any other options so he will stop whining besides waiting until the V3M is free and it goes back down to $49.99...

thanks.

pricing on phones fluctuate ALL the time unfortunatly. I'm sure you've noticed the v3 go on sale for free, then $50, then free and so on. Theres many different reasons for it (ie. new model coming out, holiday sale, over stock, price drop for the company buying, ect) Depending on where you are looking I would go into the store and see if they can make you a deal (though upgrades are usually not too lucky) however that price is really good for that phone (havn't seen it that low in my area at all, and my store wouldn't be able to price match)
Other then that, wait till crazy christmas sales.
