Just wondering what people's experiences have been with letstalk.com. You can get the AT&T Tilt much cheaper on there than you can at the store. What has your response been to their customer service. Anyone had any problems? Thanks

Do you really wanna sign a contract with a company you'll never see face to face?
...
well thats an interesting question and my greatest issue about doing it. At least if i go into a store i'll talk to someone. THanks for your response though

Double check the FAQ on there site. You can't even submit for your rebate until after 4 months. In store it takes 4 to 6 weeks to get your rebate. If that matters to you.
...
Well the thing is the price is cheaper $250 before you submit the rebate. The rebate knocks it down to $150. I appreciate your response though

Some of the sites will charge you for the full amount of the phone if you get rid of the data or any other features that are part of the special. And that means anywhere from six months to the whole 2 years, I also don't know what their return policy is.
...
I looked looks like there return policy is 30 day for a exchange but only 7 days for refund?? not good. stores will give you 30 days for a FULL refund.
...
they have sent customer in to my store to exchange or refund devices cause they don't want to deal with it. the feature thing is the most disturbing cause they send you a bill if you remove features that come with your phone deal.
...
Yep! and i'm sure it's the big features to not the $4.99 Messaging starter. I'd stear clear of that deal, you drop the feature and they hit you with full price of the phone.

I'm not really familiar with "lets talk.com", however, any time you buy from a 3rd party, you are at risk of running into some MAJOR issues!
I'm in the Atlanta market, and "wirefly" is more popular down here. On several occasions, I have had customers come in to the store for warranty, return, and tech issues. So let's just talk about how these 3rd party sites work...
wirefly purchases a ton of phones from the manufacturer - NOT at&t. Since they are purchasing mass-quantities of phones, they get a heck of a deal...From the time that they purchase from the manufacturer, the phones that they buy have a year warranty. - - Which means that if they buy 1000 phones and a year later, they sell their last phone, then sorry about your luck...yo...

I have heard that before but I wasn't sure if it was true. These online stores are really making the cell phone industry look bad. As soon as I see the customer come through the door with a cardboard box I know it gonna be trouble. I've also heard that they have their own repair shops that recycle damaged phones(even water damaged phones) and they resell them without warning the consumer. AT&T needs to standardize their different areas so that we are all able to do the same things and offer the same prices. That would be the way to get rid of some of these dealers that snow the customer.
