iPhone-Is this a Contradiction??

Lately I have been seeing several ads on TV, newspapers, etc. touting the iPhone for business users, something I am considering.

However the following information from some 'Important information for Iphone users' seems to contradict the latest marketing message re the iPhone.

"Available only to consumer accounts. iPhone and associated wireless service are not eligible for corporate discounts."

Kind of double speak in my opinion-thoughts?? 😕

The commercials just started airing in the past week or so. They are definately geared to the business user which is why I don't understand why corporated discounts don't apply.

Corporate discounts? Because it's an apple product and if they are big corporations they don't need a discount. They can pay it.

I would say a great deal of "business" users are still on consumer rate plans. I have accounts upwards of 20 lines on seperate FT groups as it is just more cost effective. Those users could purchase an iPhone and use it on their account.

You can't use an iphone under a tax ID number.

Silly huh.
