New Phones for Christmas
I know there is a LOT in the planbooks but I've been hearing a LOT of rumours too. SO far we go the Pantech Duo dummy in our store so we know that's coming, and I've read on here of other phones coming soon. We now see the Samsung 517 as a Sync-Lite at RadioShak. Does anyone know if there's anything in the planbooks to lauch before Christmas? A customer came in today and said that an AT&T store showed her a NEW texting phone so I'm a little curious.

should be under a 100 bucks and at that price I would just get a blackjack. No pda should come with out 3g in this day and age, flat out unacceptable.

Not only does it not have 3G, but I found it strange that it's a NEW handset, and yet it doesn't have WinMo6.

I'm not necessarily rich, I just work a lot of OT. I should have 24hrs of OT on my Nov.1st check, so, that's how I afford whichever phone I want. And the one I want is the Sony Ericsson K850!

Not sure about the price yet, but I do know it'll come with a memory stick duo slot (and card) as well as a microSD slot (no card)...

Looks Like the SE850 Is going to sell like it is in Europe....
From the looks of peoples comments, it is going to be as big as a deal here as it was 2 weeks ago when it was released...
I've read plenty of reviews about it and the good news is, the software seems to be running smooth with no glitches or anything & that's also good news for it's release date in the states.
Just watch, if they release that phone Dec/Jan, it will be a HUGE seller

Yeah!!! I agree, it seems as though since they've taken charge of the helm over Cingular that better, more attractive handsets over just starting to come out.

I think we have a very strong lineup for this xmas. flashy springloaded swivel phones won't do anything to beat a fully functional tilt with blackberry PDA connect. the lg prada and shine should kick the crap out of the competition.

How accurate are these dates?
I've looked for the CU515 and the SGH-A737 both on-line and in the stores and they are not available.

Dates change all the time, so its difficult to predict when they will actually become available. If you ever check engadgetmobile.com or the phones list on at&t on here, they usually let you know when it may be out.

The LG 515, Samsung A373, Pantach Duo and the Moto Q are all available. It does take time to get to the stores remember. They were just available to order October 24th. Some stores only order once a week. We order almost whenever new phones are out, most stores cant do that. Some stores dont have a say in what they get. Trust me, the phone is now available, go next week and see if it's there then.

AS I expected. The AT&T lineup this year is definately fantastic.
THe 580 we got in black at our store and we sold all 8 of them that we got. I think that its great competition for the Chocolate.
The Pantech Duo already looks to be geared as the Windows Mobile device that competes with the EnV and the Sidekick. Personally I think its going to to very well.
The Samsung a737 looks like a very good replacement to last years d807 which I'm happy about because while they were fragile, they sold well and people wanted them.
I'm curious about the LGs. People like that brand and want more of them. I really would like to see what the CU515 looks like.
