haha, why?

If 2 of the best cell providers merged, why would you ever switch to one of the worst providers???

It won't happen, it would never pass SEC approval or anti-trust laws.

Tmobile the worst provider? Were do you people get this info from?

That is like saying verizon has a superior network and all the others are subpar.

And can you imagine prices when they do shift and blanket the US and really can say they cover 100% of the US. And don't allow anyone to roam because there is nothing in it for them?

I have no concrete facts, but I live 25 miles from NYC, and a few of my friends have (or had) TMobil and said they have the worst service theyve experienced. I figure if you cant get good reception in or near NYC - the provider is poor.

And from my knowledge, Verizon does have the best network/reception, hands down, vs any other provider in the north east. Where are you from???

I am in the military and been jsut about everywhere in the country. And overall sprint can get a signal in more places. Not saying its sprints service but its still service.Verizon phones att and tmobile have been useless in alot of places as they don't have the roaming agreements in place

I am from NJ and live in the south now. Tmobile was started in Hawaii and the west. They bought into other areas. Verizon of course started in the north east.

its hard to judge a cellular provider when you look at the national picture. No single carrier can cover the entire United States. Without roaming agreements...you would see huge "holes" in any providers coverage map. Thats why it doesn't make any sence for someone in California to say that Tmobile has the best coverage...because i'm here in north Mississippi where they only have 1 cell tower in the county... and vice vera... I can't say that Tmobile has a terrible network based on the 1 tower here, etc.

Its all based on your "region". Of course ATT has a good network in Atlanta (thats their home)... and of course Verizon has good coverage in New Jersey becuase thats their home. You can however judge a carrier by customer service, ...

I don't, it very possible to combine AT&T Wireless and Cingular networks.....it's no different especially since the technology now exists to equip the phones to work cross network til they are able to fully convert to 1 network. 😁

yeah yeah however the FCC only allows you to have so much. And I don't think it would be a good move when one of the networks would have to be sold off about 90%.

Nagrom74 is likely the same person as the original poster. Once the original poster of the thread was banned, the same person came back with another alias and proceeded to vigorously support the position that he originally posted in the first place.

It's all silly, of course, but you have to realise that what you have here is one person trying to create a buzz of misinformation. It's probably best to just let the whole thing drop, particularly in this forum.

"particularly in this forum"

Why is that? Is this forum the forum of all forums? Just curious!
