Question about AT&T Mobile to Mobile

I notice on AT&T's site that it says:
Unlimited calling within the largest mobile-to-mobile calling community—62 million people and growing.

so by the statement and number used this means that when an AT&T customer calls someone with a Tracphone that is running on AT&T (as in MNVO, not with an AT&T sim) that it counts as a Mobile to Mobile call for the AT&T customer?

I think that means they have what they call AT&T unity plan that gives unlimited calling to AT&T land line, business and Wireless customers that gives them more people to call.

nope. they do in fact have the largest. but, all numbers belong to us, if we service them or an mvno does because they are in our billing system some way and we count what's in our billing system becuase if the mvno shuts down, we still have them.

I think what he's getting at is AT&T is advertising free calling to 62 million, AT&Ts 62 million includes Tracphone, however you do not get free calling to Tracphone, hence the false advertising.

To be honest, I'm not sure how it works. There may be free mobile to mobile on them. I couldn't tell ya.

Usually Tracphone does count as M2M- this is based on experience in checking numbers, nothing official. Put a tracphone number in the M2M checker on the website, and in my experience it has always counted as M2M for voice- just one word of caution, it does not count for M2M txt.

You get mobile to mobile calling to and from any number owned by AT&T/Cingular, AT&T WIreless and any MVNO running on the AT&T Mobility network. See this link for the MVNOs running on the AT&T Mobility network: http://www.prepaidgsm.net/en/usa.html
