Is there anywhere I can buy a Cingular sim chip by itself? Just curious. If, so where? and how much? Thanks

Thanks, but....even though those prices seem awesome, I'm concerned. I've heard and read about the increasing number of bad batteries being sold by third-parties and then shorting out the phone (or worse yet, making the phone literally blow up). I hope this isn't also true with sim chips. If it is possible that the sim chips on ebay are like this, please let me know.

from a Cingular store, but i doubt they would sell you one if you weren't a current customer. prices vary by market, but usually a replacement SIM would run $20-$30, depending on circumstances.
