Contract Renewal/Phone Questions

1) When my contract is up and I want to renew, do I have to get new phones?

2) With the FT plan, if one person is happy with their phone and doesn't want to change, can one get a new phone and the other can keep their old one?

Just wondering since I was with only one carrier in the past for 4 years and just kept my terms month-to-month after expiration.

Thanks.

You can renew but they can only renew you if you getting a benefit, like a new plan or discount for a phone, they can't let you renew without getting soething new out of it!

OK. So unless a better plan (less $ or more minutes) comes along, I can just go month-to-month?

But if you renew a contract (new contract), then do you have to get a new phone, too?

Well the company and you have to receive a benefit , you already did a contract for what you have right now, so you did your contract we can't renew it for something you already got, we used to but them what would happen is that sometimes down the road customer could or would dispute the contract, now when we look they renewed and got nothing in return since they can be month to month on what they already had so the contract got reverted.

You can stay month to month, but if you want to renew you would needing something in exchnage like new promotions or new phone discounts. So you if you just want to renew we can't since you aren't getting any new benefits.

OK, thanks for the clarification. My understanding is I can't do anything any way until I complete 21 mos. out of 24...so I have a ways to go. 😁
