New Cingular Commercial and phone discounts

I recently saw one if them new Cingular commercials, the one where the mascot's T-Shirt gun goes crazy, anyway they are advirtising I believe it was $150 dollars of video phones and it shows the nokia 6230 and some motorola phone. Am I missing something or is there fixing to be a price discount on the nokia, or perhaps a higher rebate? Online the price has not changed. Should I wait a little longer for the nokia 6230 to drop in price? Or do you think if I take my beat up old 6340 to the store they will feel sorry for me that it is held together by tape and give me any phone I want for free? By the way I am in the Nashville area, anyone else here?

First of all if you think "do you think if I take my beat up old 6340 to the store they will feel sorry for me that it is held together by tape and give me any phone I want for free?" Would happen NO!!!

The deas they offer are for new customers to try and bring in new business, they will offer you available discounts based on renewal pricing.

They are avoiding the crap probles they (AWS) ran into and stepping around those landlines pretty well I IGHT ADD!!!

The price on the Nokia 6230 has been $149.99 after rebate for awhile now. You have to be nearly out of contract or a new customer to get those discounted prices. $199.99 on a two year rebate, and then a $50 mail in rebate.

No, you would sign a 2 yr aggreement and pay 199.99 for the phone and get 50 bucks back through a mail-in rebate. In the end, you pay 149.99 for the 6230.
