It has been in beta for awhile now, been using the beta for over a month now. Still needs alot of work, such as not crashing my Razr. 🤣

Please don't beat me up for this question, as I just got a BB 8310 and I am not familiar with all the third party software available for this device. What does Opera do for web browsing that the BB browser does not do?

Thanks

Opera pares down a website through a proxy server, so that it gives you a snapshot of the site and then you can zoom in on the part you want. There are some other nice features to it, but as compared to the BB browser that is going to depend upon the device.

Even then, I feel Opera Mini is more for the regular handset market. If you have a BB and cna get the full web, Opera mini isn't really going to give you anything different.

Not sure on the compatability with BB's either, click the link and check it out for yourself. 😁

opera is alot better then the browser on the bb, i have a curve and i use opera more then the browser, on opera you can visit any website and it looks exaclty like it does on your desktop, the bb browser actually converts the page so it looks wierd, also on opera you can do like espn and other webpages that you cannot do on the bb browser
