why is it that each new phone that at&t releases gets more and more bogged down with apps you can't delete. i loved the 6555 except you can't delete anything at&t puts on like mobitv and xm and crap. i'm using the w580 and flashed it to generic sony software, but even as great as the phone is, with at&t software, it completely lacks personalization. you can't do certain things and it restricts java access. when is someone in the company going to realize the reason computer manufactures allow you to delete that free trial of aol is becasue most software and apps forced down your throat are wortheless to most people.

FYI, blackberries let you hide whatever apps you want, and even group them into custom folders (curve and newer models)

there's not a lot that a blackberry can't do, except 3G, but that'll change in the next few months.

are you sure? blackberry offers their own gps but it cannot be used with at&t because at&t disabled it...
