Add A Phone

I already have a family plan with two phones. Is there any chance I can add a phone to my account without buying a new phone? I mean, can I get another line (new SIM) without a phone and more importantly without a contract (or at least a reduced timeline of a contract).

I have working phones and would like to not add more lines half way through my current contract making the different lines on my plan have different contract ending dates.

Only if your plan was non promotion meaning you lose things like mobile to mobile and rollover. We used to be able to do a 12 month contract on promotional plan, and I believe that is no longer an option.

yes. you can add a line without a contract. a store should be able to do it for you. you WILL keep your mobile to mobile as they no longer offer plans without mobile to mobile on them. and since you are bringing your own equipment there is no reason for a contract.

I don't know about COR but Agents can't add anything without a contract. We can still activate on a 12 month just not upgrade to a 12 month.

I'd rather be an underprivileged agent than a corporate asshole.

I don't mean the people on here by any means (most of you) but in general I've seen COR people think non-COR people don't deserve to work in the industry no matter how amazing their sales numbers may compare.

I don't hate the people at COR in fact I know a couple who are awesome! I just hate that they can override so many things I can't. And its not that I would make that much more money, its that I hate not being to find a solution for all my customers and it makes me look bad to say sorry, can't do it. Go to these guys 6 miles away.

I work for a COR store and if you add a line of service, you must sign a 2 year contract, even if you use your own phone. That's why I always recommend someone grabbing one of our free phones just in case something happens to that used phone down the road.

This is how it is in my market, not sure about others. I would assume it would be the same way.

In response to COR reps thinking we are better than agents, I can't speak for others but I don't feel that i am "better" than a sales rep at an agent store. I believe that there are good reps and bad reps wherever you go. That's why it's important when shopping for phones, to speak to someone you know that had a good experience with a rep, indirect or direct, and go see them. Word of ...
