Whats going on with Cingular MMS and email alerts via Hotmail?

I have not been able to send MMS to T-Mobile or Sprint or receive MMS from anybody since I migrated.

Hotmail email alerts dont work either.

Called tech support all my settings check out on the handset.

I also read below that there are network problems Cingular is trying to resolve.

Anybody have problems with MMS and for those of you who have MSN Mobile how are your email txt alerts working for you?

Ahem....I don't believe MMS works outside of cingular and at&t...they just started allowing verizon.

So why would tech support troubleshoot me for 30 minutes when they could have just said we don't support out of network MMS yet? They even brought in a higer level tech person into the conversation. When questioned directly about being able to send MMS to other carriers the answer was yes.

*shrug* I've been told MMS messaging is in-carrier only until just recently when they allowed it to go to verizon.

I know for a fact Sprint won't take them, as it is an ongoing problem w/ customers.

i can't account for tech support..I don't work there. I know what I've been told.
