Refung Limit Exceeded?...

Hi all...Okay...I download ringtones games and all the other good stuff...but then I cheat the system and go to the "direct bill" return purchase thing on cingular.com and just say that I dont want it anymore, etc. (And get my money back, before they cahrge it to my phone bill.) But now, I guess I've done this so many times that I have "Exceeded the refund limit"! It says call the customer care at cingular if I have any questions...I don't want to call them I jsut want my GREEN back!! What do I do? I fell embarrased to call them, 'cuz then they'll findo out waht I am doing!...

Yeah, I hope you know IPs are tracable from forums. They're logged every time you hit submit. If you don't wanna pay for something, then make it yourself. You're the reason everybody else who actually pays for things has to pay too much.

I think this is the one time we've actually agreed delta...

But yeah, they've got on to the dbill trick because it got out of hand... Ringtones, Gfx, and games were basically free online... We had to make a profit... and hopefully the price won't go up because of the abuse...

However, since this is a public forum I can tell you there are free sites out there where the content is limitless...

I know of http://rousso.net or http://wap.rousso.net (motorola phones use this link)

Check them out and just search the net...

I love it, a cust actually admits to basically "stealing" ring tones and games and still gets good advice on how proceed in the future. Not good for the company's bottom line but GREAT cust service. Kudos to you speck.

Speck wasn't he was showing him he can get tomes without stealing them like he has been.I'd love to get his call come across to me, I'd debit it all back so fast it make his head spin, He's smart not to call in, he'd be nailed in 2 minutes.

Don't get me wrong i wasn't being sarcastic with my post. I meant it. Not to many reps do advise our cust's that there is other methods of getting what they what for free or at better deals than what they get through the company. I'm sure this is because the reps don't know these other methods exist, but still if more cust's used the effort the did in calling in and fighting with care reps, to just look around I'm sure they would find what they are looking for them selves and be more satisfied because they were the ones to do it.

Why the hell would a tool like that be available through the website to begin with? That's just asking for trouble! It's a shame the "honor system" is hardly ever followed anymore. If it's just ringtones and such there are plenty other ways of being cheap other than stealing.

Well, it sucks that we can't use an honor system anymore. There's always someone not willing to abide by the honor system and someone will always always abuse it. The initial post in this thread proves it.

I don't stick up for or agree with speck but he was feeding off of my post and he was not saying to continue stealing but to go to a free site so he wouldnt have to steal. Shard you must still be drunk!!!

No and I meat that the cust was told how to proceed in the future so that he would NOT be stealing but still get what he wanted without the worry. I was complimenting specks good service.

You feel embarrassed to call them? Well, you should feel embarrassed. You were playing the system to get things free that you should be paying for. That comes under the category of fraud. You're passing your charges on to everyone else who uses the services legitimately. That's low... snakebelly low.
