Hello all,
I currently have a partner line that I no longer use. It is under a two year contract set to expire in December 2008. Is their any way I could just migrate my main cellular number over to AT&T and terminate the partner line with little or no early termination fees?

Yes. It does not matter where any of the lines are in their contracts if you are switching to AT&T. AT&T now owns CellOne so you can switch at anytime without a ETF. (As long as it's in the store, I think.)

Just got off the phone with Cell One, they WILL NOT waive the early termination fee on the partner line unless it gets moved to AT&T along with the main line, so I am stuck paying $20 a month either way.

Oh well.

Based on my experience with the old ATT Wireless takeover, this is true. Even though Cell One does not exist any longer, your contract with them (now ATT) still does. You can move the line over to the new ATT, but it would require an new 2 year contract on that line or pay the early termination fee to get rid of it.
