My Sony Ericsson 580i

My Sony Ericsson 580i I believe is locked to Cellular One (when powering off, the Cell One logo is displayed). If this phone is truly locked, and I get the unlock code, will all services and notifications work on the AT&T network if I install an AT&T SIM card?
Also, how do I know for sure the phone is locked to Cellular One, seeing I bought it off of eBay?

Try another carriers sim card to check if it is unlocked. If it isn't and you get it unlocked, go to sony's website and you can send the settings for mms and gprs to your phone for free. Thats if it doesn't set the settings automatically like most sonys do!
