Both are great devices, it really depends which one is more important to you.

Pros-
BB user interface and email which is awesome
Very user friendly and a little bit more compact.
cons-
No 3g
No video capture
q9-
Pros
WM 6.0 with a good processor so it runs well
Arguably the best qwerty keyboard ever
3g
Comes with 2 batteries
Great craftsmanship
Cons-
Bulky
I don't know what I would choose, both are top knotch devices. I would want to try both if I could then make up my mind.
