Hi everyone. I'm currently a Verizon customer but hate their current phones and how expensive their packages are. I'm thinking of switching to either AT&T or Sprint....with either the Blackberry Curve or the Blackberry 8830. Any thoughts or feedback would be GREATLY appreciated. I do like the curve a little better, but Sprint is cheaper with their plans. I currently have the Treo 700w and cannot wait to get rid of it!!!
Thanks in advance!

Do your homework on WHY Sprint is cheaper. People are leaving them in droves.

There is a reason AT&T and Verizon have higher rates than the others. Superior networks cost money.

I wouldnt go to either. both have poor cust service and poor networks in comparison to vzw. I would get the bb pearl on vzw or wait for the curve2 which is coming (likely in q1)

🤣 🤣 🤣 and this is coming from someone who uses both AT&T and VZW on daily basis? Unless your answer is yes, then be quiet. AT&T is just as good OR better than VZW in most places.

Really? Here's what Consumer Reports had to say about AT&T and Verizon.

AT&T

"Home of the iPhone but trails the better carriers in almost all respects.

The exclusive carrier for the iPhone. Has Smart Limits plan for controlling kids' access (see 5 Ways to cut your bill). But service and satisfaction were clearly second-tier, and connectivity was below average, thanks to static and service failures in many of the metro areas we surveyed. Rolling out high-speed wireless data network and phasing out its analog networks, which provide backup in rural areas. Uses GSM. Most of its phones can be used outside the U.S.

I hope you've shopped data rates. at&t and vzw are typically pretty close to being the same on all rates for data and voice. I would take texas wireless advice into consideration. There are reasons why sprints churn rates are so high. I also like the curve over the 8830 for its multimedia capabilities and camera! I use it and love it to death!

It's very popular nowadays to dog on sprint, but make no mistake Sprint has a fantastic network with great voice quality. Most of there churn is on the iden side. There data is the best in the business! I say give Sprint a trail run and judge for yourself 🙂

I have a friend who sells sprint and he says the number one reason is customer service, and not that the people are mean, just ill informed and enforcing stupid policies that sprint has created. I say, if they fix this, it would be the quickest way to improve company image.

So, just try them out i guess, but call customer service every day with random questions and make sure you like what you hear!
