đŸ˜ĸ Can anyone explain why a company of Cingular's size and highly regarded reputation would maintain any type of a relationship with such a criminal organization as THE MOBILE SOLUTION??? Lets see, just today some of the issues I had to try and resolve as a direct result of the incompetence from TMS>>>
1) Prevent a customer from churning after they received their first bill stating they had 200 minutes of overage charges as a result of TMS writing a contract for a $39.99 plan with 1,200 anytime minutes. Blue has never offered this plan and TMS provided mis-info.
2) Try and explain to a customer why a TMS rep. would fake calling CARE when the customer tried to return phone and cancel within 30-days and then customer continued rec'in...

Dude, can't you report that crap somehow? I'm pretty sure agencies can be pulled. I've seen it happen from locations out in DFW before. (Crappy Parks mall store)

The problem is that TMS was one of the largest indirect dealers for AT&T Wireless. They were also the worst. I report every single incident to both the Indirect District Sales Manager as well as the VP of sales for our region as do every other COR manager in the state but nothing changes. TMS has about an 80% monthly employee turnover so they have fresh criminals working every other week. It is very sad and discouraging.

Why you feelin bad for the customer, they said many times in here they want the best deal they can for the phones, TMS gives them that option, so don't the playa, hate the game.If it wasn't for the customers trying to cut corners to get the phones at rock bottom prices, TMS would not be in business.

If you want to yell at anyone, have customers look in the mirror, they keep TMS going.

Hmm... I don't know about blue... but on the Orange side we have a system to report Retail/Resellers for actions such as this. Cingular has always been very good at investigating those reports and resolving the situation quickly... I don't know which side you are on but on the Orange side you can find this form through Cinglestop

I am a former TMS employee...I didn't stay long, I worked Feb-July 2003. It didn't take long to figure out that it's a very shady company. Poor customer service, predatory business tactics, I could go on and on...Not to mention the tactics they use to get customers!

I AGREE with you on that. Maybe if I file enough complaints something will happen. I am up to about 6 a day just from customers coming in with mis-information.

ok there are many reporting tools that the agents have or should have. we have agent reporting tool... fill in the info and press submit. it is the only way we can keep our agents straight.

as for TMS if you dont have the tool yourself contact a manager or customer care if your not customer care they can get it taken care of.

and yes cingular does look at these reports. take for instance a national retailer. pretty large organization known as CC for short, direct oponent of BBY also for short.

CC used to sell Cingular phones and now they dont. they were one fo the worste retailers and too many reports came in so they took them off the shelves.

Our store manager had one chain shut down here in Central Florida; we started getting a huge amount of customers coming in asking why they had to change their #s when going to a dealer, so she did a SMART report and found that an insane amount of our customers were being cancelled for "Military Leave" and straight up churned to a new #. Pull cases together and shut em down, its not impossible.

I actually ran into another dealer called ProCom who was activating all of their customers under the dealer's FAN account to get the waived activation fees and additional minutes on the account. I also ran a SMART report and found every customer this dealer activated was under their own FAN. Did not get them shut down but in trouble.

has anyone been luvky enough to run into one of our most prized online dealers inphonic.com

i had a royal mess on an account with them one day.

customer ordered three phones on FT plan got three phones each on their own FT plan and own account. therefore three bills.

didnt like the phones and returned them. dealer didnt cancel services. set up another three phones on each their own account and FT plan.

needless to say by the time i got the call the customer had two months of service with 6 bills for each month. yes there was a total of 6 accounts all with one phone each set up as a primary user on a ft plan.

T-Mobile takes this sort of thing very seriously. In 2003 alone, we canceled contracts with over 3000 indirect dealers due to commission fraud and other very unprofessional behavior. Morals are very important. 😉

Glad to hear someone takes these things seriously. AT&T Wireless put activations before morals and hopefully this is not the case with the NEW CINGULAR but we shall see.
