Both or good devices, but I would stick with sony. It is way better for multimedia and comes with more in the box.

Cell One posted the following on the Dealer Desktop under Product News:

Sony Ericsson recently announced that select early production W580i handsets may be susceptible to hairline cracks appearing in the keypads. It's the white one..

Device issue, thats why authorized dealers or Core stores do not sell the white one...

Don't worry, I've sold the 580 to all my loved ones and they LOVE the phone..

Sony > Samsung, HANDS DOWN..

The 580 is a great device

It is NOT just the white ones. My area manager had a grey one and it had this problem. I haven't had many complains about it, but it is definitely NOT just the white ones. We only sold the grey ones with Cell One.
