since the buyout of att wireless can i use a phone with 900 frequency?

I heard that since the buyout that i can pick up a phone using the 900 frequency and use it on the cingular network is this true?

Nope, Cingular still only uses 850 and 1900. ATT also only used 850 and 1900. T-mobile uses 1900. There are no GSM networks in the US operating on 900. 900 and 1800 only operate in other countries.

Probably not, but that phone with 900 band probably has 1900 band also. It will some reason now pick this up. 900 no, 1900 yes. what phone?
