1 out of every 1000 people on the web using an iPhone?

Interesting article....speaks mostly to Apple's gain in marketshare, but has interesting point on iPhones and how popular they have become.....

Quote from the article:

"The iPhone also hit a new record, .12%, up from .09% in November. That suggests that better than 1 out of every 1,000 people on the Internet are browsing the Web using an iPhone."

Verizon is a way better company, i don't work for verizon, but I've tried the dreadful att service and it is awful. static static sometimes it kinda works but mostly is really bad. verizon is number one with consumer report, jd powers, lowest churn, etc for reason. enjoy your iphone I've used it i know how bad it is, but hey maybe a stranger will see you and think your cool 🙄

I've talked to my friends that have verizon and it is muffled. CDMA to GSM sounds like crap, GSM to GSM sounds fine.

that is what i am talking about any time i talk with a friend on att is just sucks to all hell, sometimes it is not bad but mostly i am struggling to hear all the words..it gets old fast. att is rated poor overall with static and not being able to make calls out, you know that's true if they report the same results in different surveys year after year. even you admited when talking to a verizon customer it blows. to be fair when i tried att i only talked with mostly verizon customer and they complained it sucked, the few friends that have att the convo just seemed soso at best...

Sounds like you are just quoting magazines (re: static, static, static).

In my area, GSM reigns supreme. Tried both CDMA networks (VZW and Sprint), both were weak. GSM is strong, and with rolling out its hi speed data network, it will become stronger.

Verizon had their chance to have the iPhone and passed...probably because they couldn't put their phone-crippling user interface on it. Now, all VZW can do is hate on AT&T and the iPhone while VZW tries to invent the iPhone killer.

No-static is what is was when I used it, just so happens that consumer reports agreed. but so what if it works cool, i think it sucks and can't stand talking to ppl with att.

1st of all .. why would VZW (ATT wanna-be) be reading and posting in the ATT forum? There is no reason to try and come in the ATT forum and convince us that VZW is the best. Having the best network is like saying "raising the bar". its just a marketing scheme.

65 year old grandmas across the county believe everything they hear on tv..and thats what that all plays to.

If VZW works for you.. then great! Enjoy your mobile to mobile and 9 p.m. nights and weekends (no rollover). And keep posting with the other crappy phone lovers in the VZW forum.

This VZW spill has nothing to do with the forum heading "1 out of 1000 people on web using iphone".

No but I used 5 phones when I was with Verion and only liked 1, not to mention I could be out in the shop where I work and not get a phone call or text message, but with ATT I could.

It all depends on where you are, just because Verion works good for you there doesn't mean that the same applies every where else.

For that matter, I've talked to a half a dozen iPhone customers on their devices today and they all came through loud and clear. I suspect that Mr. Network is overgeneralizing.

as always I don't get it verizon must attract the craziest people to sit there and say they are the best ect ect ect. When wireless is so dependent on so many factors.

IE: Location, phones, features, price, location, and oh location.

He's read an article that CDMA technology is better...bla bla bla.

However... its not the GLOBAL STANDARD. Why is the world not using it if its the best in the world??

Can you CDMA guys make a phone call and data at the same time? hmmmmm didn't think so.

oops

yes to be honest I hate GSM. I don't like how it sounds. It has gotten better in recent years. I don't know if it is new codecs or what. But I hate the sound of GSM.

ANd i would say verizon sprint and alltel are neck in neck overall.

They are better then others in certain areas. Say here in sc. Alltel kicks verizon and sprints but. But somewhere else verizon will other sprint. Its a crap shoot as who is better.

LOL 1 out of 100,000 are using a Nokia N82.

IM proud to be among the few rather then the "me too" many. The Nokia N82 absolutely buries the iPhone in every way on every front. It even makes the network better. The reception is far better then the Sony my wife has.

Don't be hateful b/c your company was too stupid too pick up the iPhone - that phone could be the biggest piece of junk ever, and it still gave ATT untold amounts of publicity and press, are more importantly, new customers.

but when you have to pay apple $17 per month per Iphone sold, are the customers it is bringing in really worth it?
