My wif eand I are upgrading our phones within the next few months, she has the SE w810i and I have the SE z500. She want the BB curve in red and I am stuck between a few phones, the LG Shine, Samsung 737, and SE w580. I want a slider phone but cant pick between the 3, any suggestions? Are there gonna be any new sliders coming out soon or the shine in any new colors (red, black) soon?

I would if it didnt have the walkmen interface and harware buttons. I want a phone that is a phone first and a camera and music player second.

In the Carolinas market, the Shine is due to come out in red on 1/21 and in black on 2/26.

I really like this phone, but I would rather get it in black. I live in Minnesota.

Shine looks pretty, but the battery and buttons(especially the joystick) leave quite a bit to be desired. The a737 is a little more basic with your average sammy UI. I would personally choose the sony because I love their user interface.

I used the shine for a bit in the store and love the joy stick. I used to have a couple of old school SE that had a joy stick so it doesnt bother me. How bad is the battery life? I wont have it in 3g if that matters at all.

That should make quite a difference. Probably not too bad when in gsm.

I'm with chainsaw on this, but then I'm an admitted SE fanboy.
