at&t land line number?
is there a way to find out if a certain number is a at&t land line or cell number before you actually make the call?

I do not know of a way to check on land line numbers, but you can go to www.att.com/wireless and go to Manage My Account. Under Voice & Data there is a Mobile to Mobile box where you can punch in phone number and it will tell you if it is an ATT mobility number or not.
