tri-band???
I am considering buying an unlocked phone on ebay; however, the phone is a tri-band phone(900/1800/1900). Will this phone work with the ATT network? If so, will the reception be the same on this phone as it would be on a quad band phone? Thanks

The phone will work in much of the country on the old AT&T Wireless network and work on the new AT&T network in other areas of the country. Much of ATT's new network is on 850mhz that your phone does not have. It will work, but your service may be limited.
