Nokia N95 8GB

Ok so I am already with ATT and I wanted to get this phone unlocked. So how do I go about doing it? What plans would I need to access the internet and will it work for the phone? What do I ask for? LOL Thanks in advance..

The phone should already be unlocked. Unless T Mobile has it. All you need to do is get a SIM card from ATT. Sign up for a year or two get a free back up phone and for $19.00 a month extra you get unlimited Internet and 200 messages.
The phone will configure itself for whichever network you tell it to. You bought a powerful phone. Read the book.

Yes it will work like a charm.

I had the same phone and now have the N82.

If you are going to use the GPS you should buy the GArmin XT so you are not using network data and have voice directions free.

You will use the WiFi more than Edge. Edge is okat for somethings but WiFi is faster and it's all over the place. So many people and businesses have unprotected networks you can piggy...

where is the $19 a month unlimited listed? i thought that is only for the iphone?

i have a E65 would that $19 a month thing work too?

We've had that plan much longer than any damn iPhone. There is a Media Max 200 with 200 messages or just a Media Net Unlimited each for $19.99.

i have seen the media net plan. i wasn't sure how it worked.

last time i talked to a ATT rep she was ademant that you can only use a data plan on such phones.

Well what phone are you talking about? They can't control what you have on the N95 but as far as a Blackberry, Treo, iPhone, or such device they do dictate.

so, what add-on do i need to get email and surf the net.

Unlocked right? You should be fine with the Media Max.

yes, the e65 is unlocked.
