Anyway I can use my CU500 with my laptop to get online without paying for a data package?

Actually it is not theft, but it is known as tethering. To do that without a data package runs .01 per kilobyte. While that sounds cheap, that means $10.00 per megabyte, or about $10 per minute using streaming video. The $19.99 unlimited media net is a heck of a lot cheaper.

whenever teathering a device it requires the teathering package which is 59.99. Otherwise you will get a letter in the mail from att for fraud and they will charge you

smokes.....Tethering is only 40 a month for Sprint..... and their EVDO is in more places than 3g...... 😳

Yes, Sprint's EVDO is available in more places than 3g. But ATT's EDGE is available in more places than Sprint has coverage.

I dont know about that... looking a the two coverage maps side by side it looks like Sprint has service is more places than AT&T does.
