Unlocked CDMA phones??
To answer your question. CDMA phones are not technically "unlocked" you can get a code that will allow you to access the programming menu to enter the specific carrier information to allow you to use it on a competitors network. But, here's the catch. Even if you have the code, the msl (master subsity lock), it usually changes once you program it OTA (over the air) on the network. Then you have to get it again. With a data cable.
Even then, you still may have to manually program the PRL, preferred roaming list. This can only be done w/ a data cable.
This is the absoulte kicker, you used to be able to use a Sprint phone on Verizon. But since I left the company this has ended and you never were able to use a competitors...
