it went down. unlimited data on phones went down to 15.00 per month and unlimited data on pda's went down to 30.00 from 39.99. on the flip side unlimited blackberry went up 1 penny to 30.00 from 29.99.

Incorrect, there's a 5gb soft limit. This, at least, exists on PDA, Blackberry, and laptop plans. Not sure about phones.

Be careful what you are using data for. Just had a customer get busted for data usage. Smartphone connect on a Tilt. ATT busted him and charged him data usage rates (1 cent per Kb). His bill:$2423. They even sent a letter explaining the data plans and what he needed to do to use the Tilt with unlimited data. He was a little fired up. Good luck to the COR rep who told him it would work with the Smartphone Connect $19.99 plan. He was going there after he left my store. 😁

We've seen it before. I'm sure he was pleased as peaches that he was misled. Our RAE has told us the new data plans are tracked to the imei so even if your account says RAZR and you're using a Blackjack they can get you.

I currently have the Media Works package ($14.99)... and just noticed that the Media Net unlimited is $15.....

I cannot find a description of the Media Works package... is it not offered anymore?

What are the main differences in the Media Works and Media Net Unl. plans? And, would it be wise to switch from the MW to the MNU?

You don't know what kind of package you have? It's on your bill. Anyway, the Media Works includes 5MB of web browsing and 1500 text messages. Media net unlimited is just that, unlimited media net browsing. Are you using internet or text messages?

It's been on my accont for a few years... I just couldn't remember the exact params of the works...

I use for both... probably don't quite use that many texts/month but slightly go over on web browsing... Would use more web once I upgrade to a new phone...

Thanks for the answer...
