Limited International Text Message Partners

I switched from AT&T GSM to Cingular GSM but I am wondering when Cingular plans to update their International Text Messaging Partners. With AT&T, you could text with 5 carriers in the UK. With Cingular, they only have agreements with 2 carriers. The funny thing is that all the sales persons in the Cingular store and 800 number believe that Cingular/AT&T should be the same for this? Anyone have info when Cingular will update this? -Marc

-Also, when you receive an international text on an AT&T phone...it comes up with UK number of sender (or name if stored in phone book). With Cingular, international texts come up as a random UK [email protected] something like that. Basically, the sender from UK has to put their name in the text or you do not ...
