I have an iPhone. If I want unlimited text on all the lines of my account, I have to pay $30 for family unlimited text plus $40 for the iPhone data w/ unlimited text because apparently the iPhone 200 texts will not be replaced by the ****ing unlimited text that I am already paying for.

Also, my city doesn't have 3g and all my friends are Verizon. The iPhone is still great though.

that's incorrect. you can have the basic iphone package for 20.00 and then the unlimited family plan text. call custoemr care.

No actually you can't. Not with the iPhone. The package that is added to the iPhone isn't able to be seperated.

i didn't say it was seperated. the family text overrides the iphone sms. if you don't know this, check csp.

Yay, Crackberry. I give you a billion not-a-tard points.

Yes, CSP clearly says that Family Msg unlimited will override the SMS portion of ANY iPhone data plan. But you'd be surprised how many customers I talk to who have been informed otherwise.

Actually, no. You wouldn't.

I know that some reps on here have told you differently, but as long as the iPhone is not the primary phone on the account, the unlimited family texting does in fact cover the iPhone line. I was in the same situation (until I returned my iPhone for other reasons) and the phone was covered for as many texts as I could happily send and receive!

Just to have a safety net, call customer care and ask them the question. When they tell you that the iPhone line is covered, ask them to make note of it on your account.

Just because it's noted doesn't mean it's so. You might get credits for the first month, but nothing after that.

Well having it noted would at least give you grounds to argue for a credit, would it not? I think it would be safer to request that it be noted, than to not.

Biggest complaint is they do not have the high End Nokias. Not much of a complaint though because you can still buy them.

Customer Service has gotten a LOT better since the Cingy purchase. I have been with AT since the ORIGINAL analog TDMA days, They were great then.

Cingular screwed them up, But they are slowly returning to where they were, My only complaint real complaint is I live in a very small area of less then great service. But after switching to Nokia the issues were reduced.
They are building a tower which will solve this issue and T mobile bought Suncom which will enhance ATTs service even more as T Mobile has the money to improve their local network.

Cingular did not screw up At&t. They did that all on their own when they made the switch to GSM and did a very poor job of it due to lack of revenue. Truthfully, Cingular has made great improvements since they purchased At&t's network.
FYI At&t is really Cingular, they own the name now & that is why the name change . . .
However, I do agree that when At&t was TDMA their service was much better (with the exception of their lack of tower capacity).

You must be either a troll, or in real need for a phone upgrade.
