Mobile To Mobile Messaging

A few month back, AT&T introduced a M2M messaging feature. You could add unlimited M2M messaging to any messaging plan for $5 more. Since they revised the data plans on 1/20, those disappeared. Are they no longer available or are they just no longer advertised? I know that they are no longer in POS, but what about CARE and Telegence?

Also, when is AT&T going to introduce free messaging between phones on a family plan? I know the answer is probably NEVER, but it would be a great selling point. Right now, you can add unlimited messaging to a family plan for $30, but what if you just want to message between other phones on your plan? That would be a great selling point for AT&T. I can see the ads now:

The M2M message packages are no longer available. Confirmed that with a customer care rep and my RAE a week or so ago.
