If you already have a 2 line family plan the 3rd line will cost you an additional $9.99 a month and will share your existing minutes. You will also be required to add a data plan to the iphone. The minimum plan for that is $20 a month - it gives you unlimted internet and 200 text messages. There are other plans if you need more texting - an additional $10 ($30 total) will give you 1500 texts - an extra $20 ($40 total) will give you unlimited.

Hope this helps! Welcome to AT&T :-)

89.99 for 1400 rollover minutes unilmited nights and weekends and unlimited mobile to mobile

what kind of phone do you have? will you be using the internet on your phone?

$89.99 for the plan
$29.99 for unlimited family texting
$20.00 for iphone data
$15.00 for unlimited MEdia net (handheld internet - not PDAs)

Comes to $154.98 for your monthly service charge. Taxes and fees are usually about %20 of the bill, so I'd estimate your bills to be about $190 a month. Remember, your first bill will have your activation fees on there ($36 for the first line, $26 for secondary lines).

Sorry this might a misunderstanding, but if I understand correctly leftygl has one i-phone right now and a phone with another provider. They are wanting to get that second phone switched over to at&t and have the phone be an i-phone. Is this correct?
If so, to clarify what Blumpelstiltskin said these would be the charges:

$89.99 - 1400min (unl.nights/weekends, rollover, ect)
$30 - unlimited family messaging (covers both lines)
$20/each i-phone - ulimited internet.

for a total of $159.99 + taxes/fees
(as well as the activation charges.)

I would also suggest getting a free phone when you activate. There is no discount for getting the i-phone when you activate so you might as well get a free when when you port over the number AND g...

If you worked for AT&T you would know that family messaging unlimited cannot be tied to an iphone when it is the primary line of a family plan. Now I suggest you re-read what this person is asking for, and quit jumping down my throat. Thanks.

it doesn't matter if it's the primary or an add a line. it doesn't matter... i just posted directly from csp. you keep saying you can't have family messaging on an iphone and you can. you do not know what you are talking about... prove me wrong here. show me in csp where it says you can't.

You can have it if the secondary line is an iphone, but not if the primary is. Try it. Let me know - you sit and stare at a screen all day... I'm in the stores, and I've seen it before.

don't forget that you can get unlimited family plan messaging and then only get the $20.00 iphone data package. the family message plan will cancel out the 200 text on that $20.00 plan.

Sorry - I didn't take note that you already had one iphone...

your plan would look like this.

$89.99 - 1400 Minutes for 2 phones
$40 - iphone #1 unlimited data/text
$40 - iphone #2 unlimited data/text

the family messaging unlimited cannot be tied to an iphone if it is the primary line of a family plan, therefore you would need to opt for the $40 package for each of your two iphones.
