At&t Cancels the SE k850
Just got an email from my SE rep this morning, that states at&t pulled the plug on the handset.
The email didn't state exact specifics of why it was pulled, but still bad news none the less.

I too carry an unlocked version, and you hit the nail on the head that pictures are not of 5mp quality. My wife, who has a w580 and I took a picture of the same thing, as you may have guessed the picture looked the same.
I checked the settings and my 850 was set on 5mp.
I would rather carry an unlocked device anyway. My WAP and MMS works great via the OTA settings given from the SE website. Now the $425 I paid for a blue model is a little excessive.....

I had a client listing that was signing up for the 850 in advance. My customer list was up to about 22 people that were comming into my store and upgrading with me. I have been talking about this phone to customers since last november.
I believe this will not work out well for At&t, people are through with the same old phones, even the new sony phone comming out, the flip isn't really special.
If Nokia was smart, they would release a few new phones in the comming quater and steal sony's thunder.
I am now wondering what I will do with this list I have been creating and what I will tell my customers. Maybe buy a few K790 and K800 and sell em to them instead??

Not good at all, and I taught those guys at mobile solutions about the Sony 850...But It's whatever when it comes to money, I don't blame them for buying these type of phones.
There really isn't that great of a selection when it comes to Smart/PDA/all around everything Phones.
