Anyone know if and/or when they are going to release a different color for AT&T? And if so, what color(s)? I hate the maroon that is available. I mean, come on. There are around a dozen different colors of the V3 and V3xx available. Why not the V9?

The Q rocks, but I had a Blackjack and never used it. The Q would be the same way. It would be a waste for me. I like the V9, but not the color. If only it had WiFi...

3G, schmeeG.

If you have a computer, you have all the content at your fingertips anyway.

I guess you're right. The only thing 3G is really good for is streaming content. Even then, EDGE is good at that (depending on area coverage)...for audio anyways.

the only thing i would use 3G for is browsing the web.

But ATT makes you pay dearly for browsing and KB usage.

My t-mobile edge phone can surf without limits. It takes a few more seconds, but it gets the job done

Somebody has a bug up their arse. Cell Phones became fashion statements when the RAZR came out. Have you noticed that phone designs have changed DRASTICLY since then. There are more colors and they are thinner and they are prettier. If people valued function over fashion, there would only be one phone. The same goes for cars.

Besides, the V9 is very functional. I just prefer a different color than that maroon/purple. Are you saying that you never chose something just for its color or design?

I ll buy you argument for a nice looking car. But who "wears" a cell phone for all to see?

Do people really need that much acceptance from others to get it from a cell phone? Something thats HID...

IF indeed the V9 IS a fashion statement wouldn't you want everyone to KNOW you have a V9 and not a lowly v3xx....The purple is the very thing that keeps that phone "exclusive" for those who need that sort of thing..

God forbid someone mistakes a V9 for a lowly RAZR......Theres a reason it comes in purple only. Think about it.
