Wednesday February 20, 10:16 am ET
NEW YORK (Reuters) - No. 3 U.S. mobile service provider Sprint Nextel Corp (NYSE:S - News) is expected to offer flat-rate calling plans at up to a 40 percent discount to its rivals, hurtling the industry into a price war, analysts said on Wednesday.

I understand that you're eager to share this information with everyone, and it is a good read, but there's no reason to post this in four different forums. Posting it in one would've gotten the message to us just as well. Posting it four times in four different forums is borderline spam.

Like you said it's a good read, some only browse their carriers forum..any comments on the article or did you just want to act like the mod police? 🙄

I doubt VZW & AT&T would respond to Sprint's price drop (if there is one). Sprint is a sinking ship whereas the "big boys' don't need such drastic measures to keep customers. It would be great if they all dropped their prices but I doubt that will happen.
A better plan for Sprint would be to get rid of all their customer service outsourcing & replace them with some knowledgeable people.

As its only speculation, I don't have much to say. I don't think the top three carriers have any reason to try and match that price since their companies aren't bleeding from the neck. I don't want to see Sprint fail, and if they did this it would help their company.
If I was a Narc I would've reported it, but I ain't no Ray.

Damn, ralph. Where have you been?

Just tryin to get my **** together. Starting up night classes on the 10th, got the Department of Labor to nail my company for unpaid overtime, then I'm going to unionize them, and of course saving up to move Jenny down to Tejas. Also I can only post on here from my BB, which slows things down
...
Oh, yikes. That sucks. At least you're getting your woman down with you.
...
It also feels pretty good knowing I'm responsible for getting every single employee this company has had for the past two years the overtime they deserve. Once they find out I was the rat, I'm also going to enjoy collecting unemployment
...
Nice. Good luck with that. We're getting some pretty hefty religious threads over in the lounge if you care to peruse them, although I can understand how that would be a pain with a BB.
