I didnt' know.... 🤭 🤭

Quick question though, If my mom had at&t postpaid service THE ORIGINAL TDMA style, and the account defaulted 6 or 7 years ago, would she be able to sign up for service for me?

Possibly. If they defaulted, they will probably owe at least a deposit. Deposits usually start at $125 and I have seen them as high as $1000.

The Blackjack II internet plan is a PDA Connect plan which is only available on contract lines, it unfortunately is not available on PYP. Text messaging would be available with the BJ on PYP.

Or you could start a PYP with a lower end phone and add unlimited MEdia Net. Then, put your sim card into a Blackjack II and enjoy! I had a Blackjack for six months without a PDA plan. I just used the MEdia Net Unlimited package. It worked fine.

Media Net unlimited does not work for PDA's anymore. We have been warned not to play the system, because the customer could get a rude awakening on their bill. ATT is watching and auditing the IMEI's and the plans attached. If they are not correct they will warn you. After that, God help you.

Actually contrary to what people have said, th system does allow you to create an account with a 500 deposit. What you have to do though is provide a fake name address and a soc security of all 9's or 5's the rep will have to do an analyst review and it will com back as a no hit for 500 dollars. The only problem is you won't have identification so you may have a hard time finding someone to do it. I have done it for exchange students who don't have a social but they werentmaking up their names . Good luck

You CANNOT do it online. If you enter in an invalid SSN or if you require a deposit, AT&T will cancel your order and you will be directed to visit a store location.
