Are there any fake iphones floating around?
A guy on craigslist is selling 8gb iphones for $250. His title read "deal of the day." He somehow has 5 of them. He mentioned getting them from postal something or other. It was late & my mind has been gone the past 2 days. I didn't understand what he was saying.
Anyways, does this sound legit? How can I tell if these are legit/authentic iphones? I'm going to get to test it before I buy it for sure.
Oh yeah, about 20 minutes later his post was flagged for removal. I sent him a text message asking him if he was aware of this & why did he get flagged? He said b/c he was selling them too fast.
So how can I tell if these iphones he's selling are fake?
Thanks in advance.

They aren't fake, they are STOLEN!

agreed. CL doesnt care how fast you sell things or how many you sell, but for some odd reason they dont like it when you are selling stolen property. 🙄
sounds like this nut job knocked off a delivery man and stole the phones. plus CL doesnt even really care if you sell fake junk, just stolen things. ppl are stupid. if you're gonna steal a bunch of iphones, dont try to sell them online, it makes it soooooo easy for you to get caught

The biggest clue its not legit.... its on CRAIGSLIST!

That's not 100% true. I've found some good phones, as well as other deals, on Craigslist. It's MUCH better than Ebay; because if you don't like the product, you can be like, "Hell no!" Whereas on Ebay, you can't see it ahead of time; and if you order or and it doesn't work, you're screwed!
