Wanna Hear Some BS?

The state of Florida sued AT&T over 3rd party download charges...AND WON! WTF!?! Because people are too stupid to read the fine print on the computer or TV screen, AT&T will have to dish out more than $10 million. How is that fair? On top of that, "Florida's attorney general has flat-out admitted that they went after AT&T only because the actual offenders -- the fly-by-night shops operating the free ringtone schemes -- were too difficult to round up and sue." How the hell is that fair?

It's like if I were to buy a Playstation 3 on eBay and it turned out to be broken. Then, Instead of contacting and / or suing the eBay user I bought it from, I would sue Sony.

It's always big business's fault. Never the consumer who disregards the small print. Those fly-by-night shops that advertise in mens magazines and late night cable are usually a subscription service anyways. Maybe ATT letting them get away with that was the main reason. Gotta police yourself.
