If you don't mind charging your phone every night, the N95 is the top of the line does everything COMES UNLOCKED FROM THE COMPANY phone.

They run $400-$500. I can't remember. Start a message post with AvgJoe in the subject line and he'll tell you all about it.

Sony's nice but No GPS, 3.2 MP Camera, No xenon flash, Still using QVGA at15 FPS vs Nokias Full VGA video at 30FPS.

For the additional features the Nokia has I would carry an extra battery......

The Sony does have a longer battery life. But the new Nokia N05s have a much longer battery life then the first one released.

Hey AvgJoe. I have an N95 also, and I love my N95 a whole lot! ! ! And with regards to a spare battery, I'm a bored security guard and a spend a whole lot of time during my shift surfing the net.

I have 2 spare BL-6F batteries I got on ebay for $16 each. Far, far cheaper than the blood sucking greedy $60 that amazon charges for 1.

Yep! It has the Nokia hologram. I recieved it from Hong Kong. And it came in a Nokia pkg.

By the way earlier just as I received your response just now I was replying to "pepsijunky" post in the iphone discussion in the ATT forum. I was telling him that an ATT salesman who owns the iphone offered to buy my N95.

By the way, have you ever checked out a website called n95users.com?

Absolutely...Great site. For the N95.

I almost bought the first N95 when it came out but held out for the N82 once it hit the airwaves.

Don't knock everything on Amazon, now. I bought an 8125 for $3 and a 4GB Mini SD (not SDHC) card for under $40! It's all about research.

I do quite a bit of biz on amazon, mostly DVDs.
Those were some damn good deals you got though!

But don't you agree that $60 is outrageous for a cellphone battery? There are car batteries out there that cost less than $60

Does the N82 use the same charger as the N95? If so, where did you get your charger for $12? I usual get these sorts of things on ebay.

Only if they use the same battery. The charger is independent of the phone.

Oh. I thought Nokia is pretty standard with they're chargers.

So what do you think of the keypad on the N82?

I rarely use it. I use voice dial most of the time. and the D pad for "crapper gaming".

I don't find it bad. I would not change anything about the phone. I had better not. When I pay nearly $500 for a phone it had better have EVERYTHING I want.

I've owned the N95-3 for nearly 3 months, it does everything you want with the exception of a touchscreen. If you do decide to get it there are a few important things to keep in mind. Whatever your preference is there is a red version and a silver version available both with support for ATT's 3G network. And depending on how much and what you intend on doing with this awesome device the battery really isn't all that good. I actually have 2 spare BL-6F's in my pocket, but then again I'm a very, very bored security guard who surfs the net a whole lot on my N95 while at work. The camera is absolutly amazing, including night pix! The price for the N95-3 ranges between $550 and $600, I got mine online for $572. If you have any ?'s feel free to as...
