You get charged an international MMS charge of $.50. No data charges. Ironically, if you're roaming outside the US and get a MMS or SMS it comes out of package.

Wrong about what? I roamed outside the US for 15 months and I can show you the bills. Whenever I'd get a text message while I was roaming outside the US, it'd come out of my messaging package. Now, if I sent a message from there, then I'd get charged for it. 25 cents per SMS and 50 cents per MMS.

Was it an ERP thing, or a glitch. I'm sure as heck glad of it, because I saved a lot of money!

No, I have an unlocked phone that I use with a venezuelan SIM card when I'm down there. People texted me on my AT&T line and I'd reply from that phone number. Very few times I sent texts from the AT&T line, and whenever I did I got charged the .25 cents. I was like 😲
