I just had a customer come in and say he is looking for a dual FLIP phone that he saw was for at&t. Now I don't know of a dual flip phone... just a dual slider. Can anyone think of the phone he is talking about?

No such critter in the AT&T lineup. The customer may have misunderstood the commercial. The only 2-way phone in the current lineup is the Pantech Duo - a slider.

Samsung D307 actually. Came out around the same time as the LG F9100, another phone that failed and yet Verizon dominated with today. The D807 was the slider that came in black and white, model before the A737.

Yep, my bad!

Coulda been a hit if it had a camera and was advertised more, especially today with all the texting that everyone is doing...

Make a text phone like that w/ a camera and drop advertisements everywhere featuring unl messaging... Watch how many teeny boppers get their parents to get it for them.

the lg phone we had was just about the same thing as the rumor or scoop or whatever alltel is calling it. the real problem with those phones was the price and the lack of function. the lg wouldn't do anything with the keyboard open and the samsung wouldn't either. bluetooth was lacking on the lg's and the samsung only supported headsets and hands free and cingular/at&t customers li...

We need something like the Duo without windows. Kinda like the F9100 from LG that we had (that you mentioned above). It sold decent, but was pulled for whatever reason. Re-test it, and fix what's wrong then get it back out; with today's features...

they are focused on smart phones and pda's too much. teh duo was supposed to be more like the helio version but windows was put on so that data would be more for it.

Yea, they need to keep a "broader" eye open towards what people want instead of just trying to raise their ARPU up. Rather have 70.00 in Data ARPU with 50 million customers, or 65.00 in Data ARPU with 80 million customers?

They gotta use common sense here, which I believe is lacking as of late....
