I love the Curve and AT&T seems like a great solid carrier. Verizon is ok but I'm sick of being overcharged each and every month.

I'm interested in the Curve and unlimited text. How does that work with AT&T? What does the blackberry plan include and how much? How much for unlimited text?

Also are refurbs covered under warranty?

If I decide to go with a Palm or Blackjack how do the data plans work for those and how much??

Unlimited data and text starts at $50 per device for a smartphone added onto any voice plan. If you're using multiple lines then there are different variations.

Unlimited data on a handset is $15

Unlimted data on a smartphone is $30

Unlimited individual texting is $20

Unlimited shared texting is $30

Blackberry plan itself gives you unlimited data for $30, $45 for corporate users. $20 for individual unlimited text.

Refurbished phones are covered under 90 day warranty if purchased from AT&T. If you buy from an authorized agent you'll get a year, just don't tell them. They have no way of telling if it was purchased from somewhere other than att.com.

Palm and Blackjack are the same prices with a different name. $30 and $20 for the text.

If the rep is smart enough to look up the SKU number he'll easily find out that the phone is a refurb. Refurb's SKU numbers start with a 'R'.
I'm just saying...

At out store when we sell refurbs it's the same as new. We take the returned phone, send it in to Motorola, LG, Samsung, whoever, and they send a replacement or fix it. I guess some would call it repaired but we just call them refurbs. We don't use SKUs anyway.

You will be giving up some reliability and using redial. But it's WELL WORTH IT especially if you use your phone more for doing things other than making calls.

It will only be worth it if he's interested in getting a high end phone like what you possess. I doubt he's in the same league as you so I don't think the benifit that you are experience will matter to him.

how is verizon more expensive? The plans are all the same with the exception of rollover, taxes and fees are the same. 900 min. plan 59.99, 29.99 for blackberry. I don't understand even though I work indirectly for at&t my bills where the same for both when I had both (VZ was auctually cheeper becuase I had more people to talk to on network).
