Weird Thing
I went into my at&t store today to grab a new case for my phone, and there is signage for the SONY E. K850. Also there is a dummy phone on the front display at the store, with a handwritten note that said "COMING SOON".....
Kinda confusing...I'm in IL if this helps... lol
I just think the manager is eager to attract people to the store...

It's very possible that they didn't get a memo from anyone not to have it. My RAE didn't know to tell us until I asked him and he did some research on it, calling three people above him.

I have been following the release of this phone for a while and I am completely sure that it will not be coming to ATT. Phonearena has pulled it from the upcoming listings on the ATT section and that they are very good with stuff like that. I think either the store you saw it at just didn't get the memo or they don't care and want to have a mob of customers coming asking about it. It's stores like that which give a company a bad rep.

It's still showing here at the AT&T call center that we're getting it, we just got a new email with new phones like a week or two ago and It shows the ETA is still May.
I don't know if it's getting bumped back or what but I hope we get it and soon. It'll really help sales out, for sure, but because it really is an awesome phone.

The phone was still there, same note. And when I commented on the phone not being released at all, the store manager said that they had some unlocked ones that HE was selling for 600.00.....This was a corp. store, I called AT&T customer service about it though.... Thats just not right, he's using his store as a "auction house" type thing to sell HIS merchandice. And it WAS NOT an authorized retailer, it was a corporate owned store. I'm really surprised that a district or regional manager hasn't said anything to him. I was a regional manager for a company for 2 years, and I would have fired his ass in 5 seconds.
