I am annoyed that every other carrier covers their blackberry's but we don't. anyone heard any rumors of when we will start to cover ours?

Check the insurance list, I know they started doing some. Off the top of my head the Blackjack, Blackjack II, and Pearl. Probably the Curve I think too.
...
no they just do the ones you said... but they need to pick up the curve and duo

Moto q9 and Blackjack II (current phones we sell)

And Blackjack 1, 2125 and 3125.

Agent or corporate?
Agents can cover those handsets if their owner chooses to sell 3rd party insurance.
I can tell you this, if they come out with it don't count on the price remaining at $4.99 (or watch the deductible go up). There is more to what phones are and are not covered under the current AT&T program than just cost.

Tex,
Do you have any 3rd party insurance companies you recommend? I've been trying to get my principles to look into this but I'm not having any luck. I'd like to gather some complete information to present to them. Thanks!

What point of sale system do you use? PM me offline.
...
actually as of May 1st all PDA's except for teh iPhone will be covered
...
😁 Are you serious 🙂 this is good news 🙂 especially since there is supposedly a 3G Blackberry coming out soon 🙂
...
Probably when the rapture happens.

People are amazing.
Insure yourself against MAJOR financial disaster NOT minor inconvenience. If a $500 loss will cause major financial disaster in your life, you have no business owning a phone that expensive........
Insure yourself.

Working in warranty I've seen the Pearl, DUO, BJ, BJ2 covered.

Moto Q, BB Pearl & 8700, and Blackjack's all are eligible per current list. I also recommend that clients check with their property insurer, as these may be able to be insured on a Scheduled Property or EDP Inland Marine floater (yes, was an insurance guy in a prior life).
