If a customer buys you a iPhone, would you keep it or say you can't accept it? Now think about your answer before you respond. Could this be a possible COBC violation, or is this a customer just being really nice!

Don't ask don't tell in my opinion
...
i am with you on that one but i would turn around and sell the phone after i got it from them.
...
I think the official policy states you have to give it to a random phonescoop user called ashdizzle.
...
well the policy does state that we can accept gifts, within reason, a cust can buy us lunch but something over a certain value we can't accept and if we do it grounds for termination
...
I believe it's anything over 20.00 has to be reported. After that it's up to the ARSM to determine if you get to keep it.

I'm not an AT&T employee, but I am an American and have an opinion.
And my opinion is if a customer wants to be nice, then LET them be nice!!!
And what AT&T doesn't know, won't hurt them!!!
...
I agree and I am an AT&T employee. I've seen people get fired for taking gifts (although not while working for AT&T).
...
That would be nice if that customer who gave that gift to the employee who got fired complained about the employee getting fired.
...
Geez, what did you do to prompt a customer to buy you an iPhone??
...
wasn't me, it was a rep at another store, but she's been know to do things that aren't exactly in good taste to get gross ads 😳
...
Sleeping with the customers? :8
That never worked for me! :@ j/k

lol, who knows what she's doing, but she did something to make a cust buy her the 16 GB iPhone, my manager and i think this is gonna come back and bite her in the ass. Only because now this customer is gonna expect special treatment on his bill or a free high end phone. Do you see where this simple thing as getting an expensive gift from a customer can cause so much.
