My AT&T Banner
I am so sad that my AT&T Banner on my powerful Nokia 3660 is gone. Now it reads a fugly cingular.

You should've seen the panic it caused people when their alpha tags switched from SW Bell Wireless to Cingular. Many people around here (Texas) came in complaining, "Why's it got this d@mn Spanish word on my phone?" Apparently they never read their bills or watched the news. 😁

I don't know what area your in but I'm from south florida and I've been with at&t since 1996 and really I have no complains and as far as I remember and I do this all the time is manually switching my tower to a cingular wireless or I compare my signal with a similar model and from what I've seen cingular doesn't have the same strength that at&t has because my phone has always had perfect or 1 to perfect reception and I've always get great rate plans from at&t prise wise my plan beats all others.

and to add to that at&t gave cingular that nice edge upgrade for faster high speed data transfer since cingular at the time of the merger was still testing while at&t had already deployed it.

AT&T was awesome. If you did not use them dont comment. I had ATT since 1995 and had no problems. When I had any problems they always fixed them without putting blame on me, even when going over my minutes, they helped out. Now cingular, they give you a hard time for anything and they are charging more for internet services when ATT didnt overcharge. If you had unlimited service with ATT and by mistake upgrade your phone with cingular, you have to get their new plans. I had to fight to get unlimited caller to caller, because I was AT&T customer. The guy told me I had to get a cingular plan to get that. Please, I had to talk to a supervisor and he did it. The more powerful they get, the less they'll do for you. That goes for anything in this ...
