don't do it. go VZW. I heard they pay more and have better benifits and you aren't locked down by a union and you don't have to pay union dues.

As long as you work hard and do the best you can, any job will be worth it. You could have a bad boss or a good boss. Really hard to tell till you start. Just have a good attitude and make it work for you. If you are young this is probably not the last job you'll ever have.

I have been working for at&t for over a year and its been really fun...alot of people think being part of a union is bad cause you have to pay union dues, but its the union the fights for you if the company tries to screw you over...as long as you show a good work ethic and you play the game youll be fine...I think the benefits are really good...I have worked for other companies ( BestBuy, Home Depot, Target ) and they all sucked compared to working here. Not only do I have fun at my job but I also get paid very well...Dont forget your the one that is being hired, and if you dont like it you can always leave

I think in general ... if you're a good employee you won't get screwed over. So that Union support is kind of a moot point.

What I dislike about it is that you are so limited in what you can do if there is an issue. Like it's to the point where you need to go to your union rep before you can talk to management ... then it would get lost in the bueaucracy.

I see what your saying, but I havent really experinced anything like that...the only thing I dont like is the fact that I cant get my company email on my phone, so when I come in after having a couple days off I have 30 emails I have to delete, I dont really need to respond to them cause they are just group emails that dont matter to me, its that fact that I have to waste my time reading them then deleteing them. Other then that I have no complaints

Is it union policy that you can't get company email on your phone? Why is that?

it's company policy. but it's vague. you can request it but you cannot check it when you are not at work becaue they would have to pay you for checking it.
