So I have been on the verizon thread for a week and the people are so rude. Why do they get so upset when you don't agree with them? How sweet is the new iphone going to be?

I think you'll find that in any forum there are fanboys who react badly to anyone who DARES to criticise the service that they represent. The VZW forum is nevertheless often amusing.
Wish I could tell you something substantive about the next iPhone. So far I haven't heard anything earth-shattering that would be remotely reliable. I figure Apple has done a pretty good job at bottling up any such details.
