who do i have to kill, to get this? i was told by AT&T that i have to get it form Moto and Moto say I have to get it from AT&T. I see on here all the time rep talking about give it out all the time. so why cant I get it. the phone is a K1.

The guy who bought it from AT&T needs to provide you with the original receipt so you may request the code. My guess is the phone was not eliglble to be unlocked due to time restrictions or balance owed. If the customer who sold you the handset was in that situation there is no law or legal precedent for them to be required to provide that code.

don't listen to that its a bunch of bunk as long as you meet all criteria such as no past due balance blah blah blah just say your going to say uh england for a month and want to use it as a prepaid phone there with a foreign Sim get standard international roaming (no charge monthly) boom once features added rep will give it to u right there if its in system it not max 4-5 days for you to get it from case

Just to explain I do not work for AT&T so I don't have access to the code data base but there are people out there like unlocktotalk.com unlockmode.com and many others that charge a few dollars and i guess they work for AT&T and get the codes. I was not going to make $ on this but I was just trying to help a guy!
